Tarun J Tejpal (né en 1963) est le fondateur des médias indépendants Tehelka, IndiaInk et Think, et l’auteur de quatre romans publiés dans le monde entier et salués par la critique. Son dernier roman, The Line of Mercy (2022), a été publié par HarperCollins India et traduit en français chez Buchet-Chastel. Il est marié et a deux filles qui travaillent dans le cinéma et dans la conservation.
